Unfortunately due to health concerns I had to put my private practice on hold, with plans to re-open in Fall of 2019.   In the meantime, I will keep this site active as a resource for those of you who want to find a bit more about cognitive behaviour therapy and for those who want to access familiar worksheets or tips on dealing with anxiety, depression or relationship concerns.  In fact, I hope to spend some time over the next year to expand the site.

If you need to find a therapist, please check the websites for the Canadian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapies and the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.  Both maintain listings of therapists credentialed in delivery of cognitive behaviour therapy.

Remember, it is a job of a good therapist to offer you a clear assessment and treatment plan before you commit to  therapy.  Don't hesitate to ask questions and conduct your own assessment to decide whether or not you feel comfortable working with the person that you have requested assistance from.  Good results arise only from a combination of skill and solid therapeutic relationship.

Hope you'll find right help and start feeling better soon,
Joanna Szczeskiewicz
